1,100 meters above sea level, between Bern and Lucerne in the heart of Switzerland, there is a place, just outside from Escholzmatt called SONNE-Bodeli where one can find peace and relaxation.
Originally the places name is Boedeli, but due it`s sunny location the farm run by Franz and Renata Muff-Müller is lovingly beeing called SONNE-Boedeli and belongs to the UNESCO Entlebuch biosphere reserve. The area is a nature, hiking and biking paradise with both summer and winter activities. From the farm one can see the mountain tops of Schrattenfluh, Beichle, Marbachegg, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

The farm which is managed organically, includes a small herd of cattle with calves, and cows and some funny, semi-wild moorland sheep. The quietness of the farm is controlled and observed by three cats whatever the situation, whether it be Franz working and maintaining the meadows and trees or Renate taking care of the variety of berry shrubs.
One of the highlights of the farm are the impressive sunrises, in all its variations. From summer to winter and back again, the hilly landscape, with often clear mountain views, invites you to come, relax and explore.
